말레나

삼월인데 눈비가 내린다.꽃샘 추위라고 하기엔 꽤 춥다.

히터를 틀까 하다가,라디오를 켰다.영화음악이 흘러나왔다.

슥~ 슥~ 기계적으로 움직이는 와이퍼 사이로 흩날리는 눈비와 잘 어울린다.

Malena-Tornatore

소년의 마지막 대사가 기억이 나지 않았다.아주 아끼는 책의 책갈피 같은 장면이었다.

"Good luck, Signora Malena."

I pedaled as fast as I could...as if I were escaping  from longing, from innocence, from her.
Time has passed, and I have loved many women.
And as they've held me close...
and asked if I will remember them I've said, "Yes, I will remember you. "
But the only one I've never forgotten is the one who never asked-- Malena.
